Make or utilize a room or closet of proper size to accommodate all the hockey gear to be deodorized/sanitized. Place a circulating fan in the closet/room to vigorously blow the ozone around the closet/room to help penetrate the porous materials. Place the hockey equipment to be deodorized in the closet/room, hanging as much as possible to allow air movement around the hockey gear and set the ozone generator on full. This procedure should be run for 1-3+ hrs depending on how bad the hockey gear smells. If the hockey gear still has a bad odor after the ozone treatment, re treat for another couple hours till the odors are gone.
